Service and contact

RedactPDFKit provides online redaction of PDFs, scans, images and engineering drawings. Contact [email protected] for service questions, complaints or requests. These terms apply to use of redactpdfkit.com. Last updated: November 3, 2026.

Your documents and permitted use

You retain ownership of your documents. Upload only content that you own or are authorized to process and disclose to the processing providers described in our Privacy Policy. You authorize us to process that content to provide the requested service. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, infringe others’ rights, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another user’s files.

How redaction works

OCR and AI identify candidate text and logo regions. You can review, keep, remove or adjust regions before export. Exported PDFs are rebuilt from page images and do not retain the original searchable text layer, attachments, forms or editable vector content. Keep your own original files.

Review and limitations

Detection and export checks can miss content or cover information you intended to retain. Review every output before sharing, including dimensions, technical notes and mask boundaries. An export check is not a certification that all confidential information has been removed. The service does not provide legal or regulatory compliance certification.

Access, storage and deletion

Anonymous tasks are associated with your browser session; account tasks are associated with your registered account. Losing an anonymous session may prevent you from accessing its saved tasks. Keep your account recovery code securely; email-based password recovery is not currently available. Download results promptly and use Delete to remove a task from active storage. Contact support if you need assistance. Availability, uninterrupted processing and permanent file storage are not guaranteed.

Pricing and subscriptions

Pro costs US$15 per month and includes 600 pages per billing period. Pro Plus costs US$45 per month and includes 5,000 pages per billing period. Both are automatically renewing monthly subscriptions. By completing a paid subscription checkout, you authorize the first charge and subsequent monthly charges to your selected payment method until you cancel renewal. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown before payment. The first billing period starts when payment succeeds; subsequent billing dates follow the monthly schedule shown at checkout and in your account, not the first day of each calendar month. No payment is required merely to visit the website or register. Paid subscriptions are purchased through Waffo hosted checkout. These subscription terms apply when you purchase a paid plan.

Page allowances and failed payments

Each successfully paid monthly period receives a new allowance of 600 pages for Pro or 5,000 pages for Pro Plus. Unused pages expire at the end of that period and do not roll over. A multi-page file uses one page of allowance per successfully processed page, not one unit per file. Pages are reserved when processing begins; failed pages release their reservation. Retrying an already successfully processed page in the same task or downloading its result again does not use another page. Uploading it as a new task counts as new processing. There are no automatic overage charges: insufficient allowance blocks new processing. Failed renewal payments do not grant a new allowance; access to new processing stops when the previously paid period expires unless renewal succeeds.

Renewal information and reminders

Before purchase, checkout displays the recurring amount and billing schedule. Sign in at https://redactpdfkit.com/account to see your next renewal date, plan price, remaining allowance and cancellation control. During the seven days before renewal, the account page displays a renewal reminder when you open it. This is an in-account reminder, not an email or SMS reminder. Separate email renewal reminders from RedactPDFKit are not currently offered. If renewal is canceled, the account page instead shows that it will not renew and the current period end date. Any legally required notices will be provided before the relevant charge.

Billing support and cancellation

You can stop automatic renewal online: sign in at https://redactpdfkit.com/account, select Cancel renewal and confirm. Cancel before the next billing date to stop the next charge. Once cancellation is confirmed, the account page shows that renewal is canceled. Your remaining paid allowance stays available until the current period ends, unless a refund has revoked that allowance. Cancellation alone does not refund an existing payment. If you cannot access your account or cancellation fails, contact [email protected] promptly with your account username and order ID. Do not send passwords, recovery codes, full card numbers or confidential documents.

Refund eligibility

You may request a full refund within seven calendar days after an initial subscription charge or a renewal charge if none of the page allowance for that charged period has been used for successful processing. Submit your request within the seven-day window and stop processing while it is reviewed; we check usage for the affected period. A failed page whose reservation was released does not count as used. Duplicate charges and confirmed billing errors are eligible for correction or refund even if the unused-allowance condition is not met. Outside these conditions, used or partially used periods and unused portions of a period are not ordinarily refundable or prorated, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Statutory rights, including any applicable withdrawal or remedies for defective services, are not restricted by this policy.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with the subject Refund request and include your account username, checkout email, plan, charge date, order or receipt ID, and reason. We will review the request and communicate a decision or request necessary missing information within five business days of receiving it. Approved refunds are initiated through Waffo to the original payment method within five business days of approval. The payment provider and your bank determine the final posting time; initiation does not mean the credit will appear immediately. We will notify you of the outcome. Do not send card security codes, passwords or drawings. Refunds for a subscription period revoke its remaining allowance. We will cancel future renewal when granting a full subscription refund unless you explicitly ask to keep renewal. The complete policy is also available at https://redactpdfkit.com/refunds.

Service changes and responsibility

We may change or suspend the service to maintain it or address misuse. We will publish updates to these terms on this page. You are responsible for reviewing output and keeping backups. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
