Redact PDF without Adobe, on Mac or Windows
Use a browser-based PDF redaction tool on Mac or Windows without installing Adobe.
Open the workspace in your browser
Upload a PDF from your Mac or Windows computer. You do not need an Acrobat installation. Processing uses online services, so this workflow requires an internet connection.
Remove text rather than annotating it
A black rectangle in a PDF editor can leave the underlying text accessible. Here, export creates new page images with the selected regions removed from the visible result.
Review the trade-off
Rasterized output does not retain selectable text, vector paths or editable forms. For technical drawings, inspect dimensions at a useful zoom level before sending the file.
Download a separate copy
Keep your original document locally and download the redacted version as a separate file. Use the side-by-side view to check that only the intended details are covered.
